News broke this past week that the expansion of Brooklyn Brewery is now complete. The new space will now allow for full time production of their wildly popular Sorachi Ace, more tanks designated for “one off” batches, and improve their productivity scale to provide more beer to more outlets.
The expansion, and all of it’s machinery and components, will still be drawing from the brewery’s clean power system. In 2003, Brooklyn Brewery became the first NYC brewery to operate using 100% wind energy. This energy, though slightly more expensive, is still one of the most enviro-friendly sources of energy going today.
A toast for continued success to the beer, and clean energy, barons of Brooklyn. Cheers!
