Everyone tries to piggyback the popularity of college basketball. Normally it’s an appliance sale at Sears, but Washington Post has done it with a side of awesome.
Go to this link and complete the First Round of the Beer Madness beer bracket. All craft brews, with the Mid-Atlantic region well represented
(Stick-Tap to WaPo and the half dozen people who sent this our way.)

Grab some friends, it’s time for a scavenger hunt!
The 1st Annual District Beer Hunt (tri-sponsored by DC Beer, J Street Beer Review, and Flying Dog Brewery) will commence on Friday, March 25th at 7pm from RFD’s in Chinatown. Teams will visit participating bars and decipher the clues to find the right beer. Get it wrong? Guess and drink until you get it right. How rough!
Credit to DC Beer and JSBR for the info.
Hat tip to Bill DeBeer for the poster.
